Fluid loss controller in most water based drilling & drill-in fluids in high temperature environment, does not significantly increase viscosity. Can be used to encapsulate drill cuttings & exposed wellbore formations to reduce particle dispersion & reactive clay/shale formation swelling. It does not require a biocide to prevent fermentation.
